What is a Nubber?

Have you ever been smoking a great cigar and you have to stop smoking before you want to because your fingers get hot or burned? The smoke gets to hot and harsh?

Now to be clear, I am assuming you know to take the band off and smoke past that point. I was at a cigar bar a few weeks ago and I learned that is not common knowledge...

Anyway, what is a person to do to get the very most out of a tasty cigar? Not to mention the cost of some sticks gets even higher per inch if you cannot get all of it to burn.

You could get a giant roach clip. I have seen some use a knife...possibly dangerous. Or use a FrankenWorx Nubber.

The first time I used one, I felt like I had a small sucker in my hand like when my dad took me to the bank.

The Nubber has truly made smoking a cigar to the end a joy. Slow down the pace to cool the ash and you will taste some of the best flavors in the whole cigar.  If the cigar gets too hot. Blow the smoke out and let it rest a moment or two before drawing a smooth slow smoke into the mouth...makes me want to go light one right now and smoke it to the Nub. #getmymoniesworth

The Nubbers come in three sizes: Standard = 4", Mini = 3.5", and Micro is 3". There may be a Nano (2.5) coming but check back later. These sizes depend on storage and preference of the smoker.

The tip in the handle end is a purge to use on your lighter to release the pressure in the tank before refilling the butane for proper function.

The piece you see in the middle back row (between the chopsticks) is called a Plugger. This is 5" Nubber that can be used to open the draw of a "plugged" cigar. This is the case when the draw or ability to smoothly pull air through the cigar is impeded. Simply poke the plugger into the cigar and repeat until the draw is restored to your liking.

As you can see, the spirals in the handles are there for grip and decoration. Frank makes them with one, two or three spirals. Also, he will make them with the purge and without as you wish. Current materials are stainless steel and titanium.
