Clipboards

Ideas come when they are ready similar to problems, kids and love. We were cutting some material down for some makers and Frank got a look on his face that told me something cool was just born in his mind.

Frank held up a piece of vintage paper micarta and said, "This would make a cool clipboard!" He then set that section aside as we still had work to do.

We call it the FrankenMuse because you never know when inspiration will hit you. But it pays to be ready to write it down when she does hit.

We have been playing with some different materials but have some paper micarta and linen micarta currently. We have different styles of clips and hardware. Possibly a leather back to hold pens and stuff nearby for the ready.
